Alliance and Complexity snag the final spot for ESL One Hamburg 2018

Alliance secured the qualifiers from the EU region whereas Complexity secured the qualifiers for the American region for ESL One Hamburg 2018.

The ESL One Hamburg 2018 has finally come to a close. The event, which was a DotaPro Circuit event last year, will have a total of 12 teams, out of which 4 teams have been selected through regional qualifiers. TNC and Team Aster secured the spots from SEA and China respectively. And now from Americas and EU, Complexity and Alliance have respectively secured the final spots.

Complexity had defeated StarLuck.S and J.Storm 2-0. J.Storm had earlier defeated painX by the score of 2-0.  In the finals, Complexity fought it out against painX who were looking to joint their sister team paiN gaming in the main event. Complexity won the final, with EternalEnvy’s team defeating his former teammate, CCnC’s team by 3-2.

painX have made it to Kuala Lumpur Major from the SA region, while Complexity could not qualify from the NA region. Complexity has, however, made it to the DreamLeague Minor.

On the other side of the world, Alliance secured the regional spot for the EU qualifier of ESL One Hamburg 2018. It was quite an easy ride for the team. They defeated Espada 2-0 in their first match and then bested Team Spirit 2-1 in their second match. They went up against Espada once again in the final round, annihilating them 3-0.

Alliance had been in a long slump for quite a few years now. Last year Loda decided to take on the duties of coaching the team. That decision seems to have paid off immensely, as Alliance right now are on fire. Not only did they manage to qualify for the ESL One Hamburg 2018 tournament, but they also qualified for the Kuala Lumpur Major earlier this month.

ESL One Hamburg 2018 main event will take place from Oct 23rd- Oct 28th.
