CCnC to standin for EG at ESL One Hamburg

Due to Visa problems, SumaiL will not be attending ESL One Hamburg and CCnC will be the standin.

Looks like the king of mid failed to impress the Visa authorities with his skills. In a problem which is all too common for esports athletes, SumaiL has not received his Visa in time for ESL one Hamburg. Due to this, EG has announced that CCnC will be the standin.

CCnC currently plays for paiN X as their solo middle. PaiN gaming will be playing at the tournament, whereas paiN X will not. They failed to qualify for the tournament in the NA qualifiers, which was won by Complexity Gaming. In an official announcement on Facebook, EG posted:

"Evil Geniuses would like to announce that Quinn "CCnC" Callahan will be standing in for the team during ESL One Hamburg 2018. He will be substituting for Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, who unfortunately experienced a delay in receiving his visa. The last-minute nature of the delay meant that we needed to find a stand-in on short notice; we’d like to thank Quinn and paiN Gaming for making the process a smooth and amicable one. CCnC currently plays for pain X, and has previous experience playing for OpTic Gaming and The Dire. We will be kicking off ESL One Hamburg with a group stage match on Tuesday, October 23 at 6:00AM EST. We’ll keep you updated as more scheduling becomes available."

ESL One Hamburg 2018 Groups were recently announced by ESL. The group staged will commence on October 23rd, and will go on until October 25th. The main event will take place in the Barclaycard Arena from October 26th to October 28th.

The EG roster for ESL One Hamburg is:

1  Artour "Arteezy" Babaev

2 Quinn  "CCnC" Callahan

3 Gustav "s4"  Magnusson

4  Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen

5  Tal "Fly" Aizik
