The Chongqing Major will be hosted by StarLadder and will be the second Major of the season.
The third Major of the Dota Pro Circuit Season 208-19 was announced yesterday. DreamLeague Season 11, scheduled to take place in March was announced during the opening ceremony of the Grand Finals of DreamLeague Season 10. Soon after, The second Major, which will take place in January, has been announced; The Chongqing Major.
The Chongqing Major will take place in the city of Chongqing in China and will be hosted by StarLadder in partnership with ImbaTV. The qualifiers for the major will take place from the 25th of November to the 30th of November, right after the Kuala Lumpur Major. The Chongqing Major itself will take place from the 19th of January to 27th January.
This tournament will have a prize pool of $1 million and 15,000 DPC points. The tournament will have 15 teams qualifying from the regional and open qualifiers: North America, South America, Europe, CIS, China and Southeast Asia. According to Valve's rules, a minimum of two qualifiers for every region must be held. The other 1 team will be the winner of the Bucharest Minor, which will take place from 9th January 2019 to 13th January 2019.
StarLadder also announced that apart from the Chongqing Major, they will also host two DPC Minors in the run up to TI9:

For now, the first Major of the DPC, the Kuala Lumpur Major is scheduled to begin in just a few days; on 9th November.
