Keeping up with the November LANs - Part 1

October has been a pretty dormant month for the professional CS:GO scene with the exception of the Extremesland 2018 incident that we are pretty sure you were already familiar with.

Aside from the online round robins of ESL Pro League and ECS S6, there was no LAN huge enough to be the talk of town.

Thankfully post-major October has finally wrapped up and the November LANs are coming their way. With that, here’s a handy tracker of what will be going on for this action packed month.

BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen: Nov 02 – 03

BLAST Pro Series is literally having a blast this 2018. Now on their second year of operations, the young yet explosive tournament circuit returns to its grassroots with the BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2018.

Just last September BLAST took Istanbul by storm by bringing in top teams in the Turkish soil. And just like Istanbul, Copenhagen will get to see top teams in Natus Vincere, Faze Clan, MIBR, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Cloud9 and hometown darlings and reigning Major Champions Astralis - Danish CS best CS as they say.

cs_summit 3: Nov 01 – 04

cs_summit 3 is Beyond The Summit's third Counter-Strike tournament, and again they are back with the unique home-style setup that was first served and loved by the Dota 2 community. Since then BTS has adapted their unique take to other titles including CS:GO and other fighting game titles as well. Play, chill, barbecue and drinks if that is what’s all about.

This iteration of the summit won’t be as stacked as before due to conflicting schedules with other leagues, but expect BTS to bring in god-tier quality entertainment – with that we mean games and memes.

IEM Season XIII – Chicago: Nov 06 – 11

Intel Extreme Masters Season XIII – Chicago is a part of the Intel Grand Slam Season 1 - a competition to reward the first team that wins four of ten consecutive premier events organised by ESL or DreamHack.

Astralis and Faze Clan are currently tied with 2 victories each under their belt. A win in Chicago can give either of these teams a step closer towards the $1,000,000 Grand Slam prize that will go directly to the players so expect both teams to go all out and expect all other teams to spoil the party for these two.

Aside from these LAN events, the online group stages of ESEA Season 29, ESL Pro League and ECS S6 across all regions will proceed whole November long.
