ESL One Hamburg Groups revealed

The ESL One Hamburg Groups have been revealed, and EVOS will be replacing TNC after the latter backed out of the tournament.

ESL found themselves in quite a situation earlier this month when TNC announced that they won’t be taking part in the tournament. TNC had qualified for the tournament by winning the SEA qualifiers and backed out almost a week after it. They decided to take part in WESG to represent their country.  The team announced it on October 8, which left ESL with only two weeks to find a replacement. And now with ESL revealing the ESL One Hamburg Groups, we finally know who they are.

Groups A and B at the ESL Hamburg

TNC will be replaced by EVOS, an Indonesian team. EVOS had secured the second place in the SEA regional qualifiers. In the announcement, ESL said that they had “locked down the replacement team for TNC Predator who had to withdraw from ESL One Hamburg due to scheduling conflicts. In their place, EVOS Esports will represent the SEA region as 2nd place finishers in the regional qualifiers. The fully Indonesian squad will now enjoy their first event in the West with a chance to impress new audiences on the big stage.”
