ESL One powered by Intel debuts in India with ESL One Mumbai 2019

Mumbai, are you ready?!

ESL One powered by Intel makes its first appearance this April!

The world's largest independent esports company, ESL, together with NODWIN Gaming proudly presents ESL One powered by Intel in Mumbai, India.

The mega Dota 2 event will be held this April 19 to 21, 2019.

Tournament Setup

Twelve Dota 2 teams will be pitting against each other for the prize pool of $300,000 and the bragging rights of winning India's first mega Dota 2 event.

Out of the twelve teams, seven will be direct invites and four online qualifiers winners from Europe, North America, Greater China and Southeast Asia. On top of that, a local qualifier will spice things up for the host country as the last participating team will be taken from India's best Dota 2 teams.

Group Stage

On April 16 to 18, eight out of the twelve teams taking part in the group stages will get the chance to play on the big stage in front of thousands of enthusiastic Dota 2 fans.

The Venue

A perfect stage to launch this big debut, the NSCI Dome with the capacity of 8,000 seats will be the battlefield for the Dota 2 teams.

“We can’t wait to bring ESL One to a completely new location - especially since this will mark the first big Dota 2 tournament in India”, said Ulrich Schulze, Senior Vice President of Product at ESL.  “We see great potential in the Indian esports market and are looking forward to further foster the growth of the local scene together with our partner NODWIN Gaming.”
