ONE Championship has chosen MMA pound-for-pound king Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson as ONE Esports's Chief Brand Ambassador. The renowned freestyle fighter is an avid gamer who also streams his games under the twitch username "mightygaming".

Industry giants have already committed their support on the project by entering MOUs

Gaming hardware company Razer Inc. as well as Telco titan Singtel have both entered into MOUs or Memorandum of Understanding to lead ONE Esports together, making this the biggest and most ambitious Esports Series to ever come out in Asia.

ONE Esports will be organized by none other than Esport Mogul, with the project kicking off in 2019.

For the Southeast-Asian esports scene, this marks another step in the right direction. Esports Mogul, through its tournament platform Mogul, will be hosting multiple ONE Esports events featuring top gaming titles across Southeast Asia next year.

ONE Championship has also released an event schedule featuring several major Asian cities such as Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, Seoul, Jakarta, Shanghai, Beijing, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, plus many more.
