Faze Clan worked their way back to the championship column with a convincing 2-0 victory over Natus Vincere at the EPICENTER 2018 grand finals.

Faze Clan meanwhile began their playoff run at the quarterfinals where they beat down Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Liquid with clean 2-0’s.
Map 1: Mirage
The grand finals kicked off Faze’s map pick Mirage. Despite a decent start from Na'Vi where they claimed the pistol and the first anti-eco round, the European group was able to set a quick tempo on T side which resulted to an 8-0 run that gave them a comfortable 10-5 lead in the half.
Momentum initially boosted their lead further until Na'Vi rallied back behind Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev. The the CIS favorites managed to inch as close as two rounds behind, but Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer and his boys managed to close out 16-12.
Map 2: Dust 2
It was Nikola "NiKo" Kovač’s turn to play front man for the Europeans as they opened Dust 2 with a strong 5-0 run. Navi was left helpless as things went from bad to worse. They have only managed to take a couple of rounds as they were kept in distance behind resets from Faze.
This resulted to a 12-3 beating at the half. Faze even went further by bagging the second pistol round of the map that led to a 4-0 run to take the map and the championship.
In game leader Nikola "NiKo" Kovač was hailed as the tournament MVP after he stepped up with an impressive 1.48 rating at the grand finals. The Bosnian’s group stage numbers were already impressive at 1.23. This is his second MVP award in 2018 alone with the first one being at ESL One Belo Horizonte.
