These four musical sensations can really take it to the top.
A new record has been ticked for K/DA!
A hundred million views… and counting.
Virtual girl group K/DA has unlocked another achievement off the idol bucket list. The music video of their debut song, Pop/Stars, has gained 100 million views on video platform YouTube. Since its release exactly a month ago, the promotional music video for League of Legends’ newest skin line-up has gained a lot of share in the skin spotlight.
The music video currently has 100 million views and 2.2 million likes on YouTube.
Will it surpass ‘Warriors,’ the most-viewed League-of-Legends-produced video to date?
All About K/DA
K/DA consists of Ahri, Evelynn, Kai’Sa, and Akali. Basically these four champions team up to form the hip and trendy girl idol group, K/DA.
The voices behind K/DA are featured artists (G)I-DLE Miyeon, Madison Beer, Jaira Burns, and (G)I-DLE Soyeon. These four talented girls performed Pop/Stars live at the Worlds 2018 stage for the opening ceremony this year.
This music video gave birth to K-pop, idols, music, and gaming in general—probably the reason why it gained a lot of attention since from everyone, not just from Summoners. K/DA will go down in history as one of the successful promotional materials for an in-game item – that is, of course, along with K/DA Akali’s neon form in the music video.
Aside from YouTube, you can listen to the song on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play, and Deezer.
What’s your favorite part in Pop/Stars? If you were to pick only one among the four, who would be your bias and why?
