PSG Esports unveil new Mobile Legends Team

World renowned football club Paris Saint-Germain revealed that they are expanding their esports division further with the addition of a new Mobile Legends Team.

PSG revealed that they have partnered with Indonesian organization Rex Regum Qeon in establishing their reach in the Southeast Asian region. This is a breakthrough for the Southeast Asian scene, with Indonesia representing nearly half of the 40+ million players of the game.

In a press release through twitter, PSG Esports Chief Gaming Officer Yassine Jaada said that they are focusing on their expansion in the Asia Pacific and entering a partnership with RRQ is a strategic move for the esports frenzied region.

"Asia is a strategic market for PSG Esports. We already have a strong partnership with powerhouse LGDgaming on Dota 2 and FIFA Online in China. It's time for us to move down to Asia Pacific… PSG Esports is striving for the best and we are glad to make an association with leading Team RRQ".

PSG Asia-Pacific Managing Director Sébastien Wasels also added that the brand is among the first European football clubs to legitimately expand from a “single-brand focus to other types of sports”.

RRQ CEO Andrian “AP” Pauline is ecstatic about their newest venture. He expressed his admiration towards PSG who “always find and choose the best talent”, noting significant PSG football members Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappé.

Team Rex Regum Qeon is very proud and honored with this collaboration, PSG is a very prestigious brand in the world. It’s good for Esports scene in Indonesia, and I hope we can bring good results for PSG fans and also RRQ.

PSG Esports has been known for its Rocket League, FIFA and Dota 2 teams and this will be their first foray in the mobile platform.

Mobile Legends fans will get to see PSG.RRQ in action at the Mobile Legends Pro League Season 3 in Indonesia. The event will start on February 16 and according to their webstie, majority of the competitions will be broadcasted and game results will be available on the Instagram and the Youtube channel of Team RRQ.
