Now, it’s the combat sport wrestling and gaming.

Wrestler and gamer Xavier Woods has envisioned a situation where the aggressive energies of our favorite ring fighters can be used in a virtual battle – and what a perfect opportunity to do that than on the Rift!

It was a battle against two teams – NXT and WWE, both comprised of four wrestlers and one League of Legends player on each team.

Team NXT was led by TYLER1 as the coach, with members Adam Cole, Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, and Johnny Gargano.

On the other side of the ring, WWE was headed by IMAQTPIE with Cesaro, Ruby Riott, Tyler Breeze, and Seth Rollins.

The showmatch was hosted by The New Day composed of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods (of YouTube channel UpUpDownDown). The NXT vs WWE game was even shoutcasted by “rap god” Captain Flowers. To make things more official, the showmatch was held at the NA LCS arena.
